Can DWS cater for inbound restrictions on certain products ?

Yes. With our fully customizable Warehouse Management System, we are able to restrict the flow of products throughout the warehouse for a range of receiving, picking and packing automated solutions. For example, if a product is a schedule 6 medicine, we can limit the flow of the product through the warehouse to ensure it only goes to lockable bins controlled by the responsible pharmacist. The process is the same for temperature sensitive medicines, medicines quarantined by principals, medicines to be returned to suppliers or to be sent for destruction i.e. they will not be allowed to be placed in bins that do not match the corresponding storage condition.

How will I know when my stock arrives at DWS ?

With our fully customizable Warehouse Management System, we are able to provide our customers with email alerts as soon as the stock is received with corresponding Goods Received Notes, indicating batch, expiry dates and quantities.

How quickly are orders fulfilled ?

Local orders from our Johannesburg hub can be processed for same day delivery if sales orders are received before 10:00 am on that day. For all other orders we aim to provide a next business day delivery service.

When can I request a stock take of my products ?

Anytime! Thanks to our fully integrate and customizable Warehouse Management System with handheld scanners feeding back to the system in real-time, processing stock takes and providing reports are seamless, quick and easy. DWS will do monthly, cycle and spot-check stock takes internally on all products within the warehouse as part of our ongoing GxP compliance but you can request scheduled stock takes as necessary. For example, we can do more frequent stock takes on Schedule 6 medicines as opposed to Schedule 1 to 2, its up to you!
